The mission of Cord of Three is to provide Christ-centered services that will impact, protect,and preserve the God ordained institution of the family.

Why Christian Counseling?

Cord of Three Counseling Services is a Christian based counseling agency committed to working to preserve the institution of the family and to bring hope and emotional healing to those individuals in crisis. In Ecclesiastes 4:12, Solomon writes "a threefold cord is not quickly broken." This scripture has become the vision of the agency. Cord of Three recognizes that in order to bring emotional healing to the families we serve, a team of three is necessary - God, the agency, and the client.

Cord of Three developed from the need for Christian based counseling services in Southeast Georgia and specifically out of a need for mental health services within our primary service area. Since we began providing services, we have seen families who are experiencing brokenness due to: Anxiety, Depression, Anger, Sexual Abuse, Substance Abuse/Addiction, Pornography, Marital Problems, Life after an Affair, and many other issues which are have a detrimental impact on today's families.

What to Expect!

Here at Cord of Three it is our belief that the problems and trials families and individuals are facing have developed over time through false beliefs about life and circumstances. By understanding family systems and the coping skills individuals have learned throughout their life, our therapists can then begin to discern what the false beliefs are which are driving the behaviors and choices leading into their current emotional and spiritual brokenness. As these false beliefs are exposed, the therapists at Cord of Three work diligently to replace them with the Truth claims of God leading into emotional and spiritual healing.
